About this physician
About Dr. Levitz
Dr. Jason Sanford Levitz is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist at Oncology & Hematology Specialists, P.A. He earned his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in 1999, completed residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital, and fellowship training in Hematology & Medical Oncology at North Shore University Hospital through the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, where he served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Levitz has applied his craft at several world-class institutions, including Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of multiple peer-reviewed publications spanning oncology and hematology — including research on lymphoma, colorectal and pancreatic cancer, and senior adult oncology — and applies that intellectual curiosity directly to patient care.
His clinical practice spans a broad spectrum of solid tumors and blood disorders, with particular experience in breast, lung, colorectal, pancreatic, and prostate cancers, as well as lymphoma, leukemia, and myeloproliferative disorders. He takes time to listen, explain options clearly, and help patients navigate treatment with confidence.
Dr. Levitz sees patients at OHSNJ's Mountain Lakes office and rounds at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center (Morristown Memorial Hospital) and at Saint Clare's Hospital, Denville and Dover campuses. He speaks English, Spanish, and Hebrew.
